A Dance of Circles in the Rain

Scientists in the UK can watch mother nature breathing.  Earth observation scientists at the University of Leicester have been able to measure from space for the first time, signals showing the amount of carbon dioxide taken up by plants.

Three Deep Breaths

Something Beautiful
Raindrops
Waves in the water
A dance of circles
Expanding outward,
And then
Disappearing.
A symphony of
Delicate percussion
Creating a resevior
Of reflection

Breath Meditation
It is hard to breathe indoors.
There is a longing
To be outside.
Now, every cell can
Breathe.
Fresh and vibrant
Amist the roar of
Downpouring rain,
There is a celebration
Of grass and trees
Of skin and body
Of being alive.
